JULY 2025:The third hottest july month ever

Diego and Manon

In July 2025, the global average temperature was 16.68 degree Celsius which is the third warmest July ever recorded, after 2023 and 2024. Many countries all around the world also reached new record temperatures. For exemple, Turkey recorded a  temperature of 50.5 degrees Celsius, the highest temperature ever measured in the country. Other regions faced similar extreme heat;, showing that this problem is global. Even if this month ended the series of new world records, it doesn't mean that climate change is over. The very high temperatures had serious effects, such as large forest fires, floods and other extreme weather events. These events show us that climate change continues and will have dangerous consequences for people and the environment.
