What’s in a degree

Mister Fahrenheit create the Fahrenheit scale in 1708 with Copernic. The freezing point of water is 32 dégrée Fahrenheit, the boiling point is 212 degree Fahrenheit and thé human body temperature is 99 dégrée Fahrenheit. Fahrenheit is a scientist and he create thermometre, he use mercury for measure liquid.

what's in a degree ?

The temperature can be measure in diferents scales, the degrees celsius, the degrees fahrenheit and the degrees kelvin . In degree celsius the boiling point of water is 100 degrees celsius and the freezing point of water is 0 degree celsius, in fahrenheit the freezing point of water is 32 degrees fahrenheit and the boiling point of water is 60 degrees fahrenheit. We can speak about the difference between the body temperatures, in degree celsius is 37 degrees celsius, and in fahrenheit is 96 degrees fahrenheit, but there is a way to translate the degrees fahrenheit in degrees celsius, the degree fahrenheit is equal to degrees celsius multiplie by 5 over 9 in parentheses and plus 32, and to get a degrees celsius in fahrenheit we need to do the next calcul ; fahrenheit minus 30 over 2 and we can get the temperature in degree celsius. We haven't talk about the last scale of temperature, the Kelvin, the kelvin is used by scientist, for have international unity of temperature, in kelvin the freezing point of water is 273 degrees kelvin.

What’s in a degrees?

What’s in a degrees?

First in degrees we have the temperature, the degree celsius, what we have in France, in Europe while in America and other places they have the Fahrenheit or the kelvins, to talk about mathematics, there are also relationships between the Fahrenheit, the kelvins and the Celsius.

We can also talk about degrees in mathematics or physics by calculating the value of an angle. The value of Fahrenheit and kelvin is significantly higher than the value of celsius, for example, the boiling point in Fahrenheit and 212 Fahrenheit while in Celsius the boiling point of the water is 100 degrees.

What's in a degree

To begin they are 3 different scales to mesure temperature: the Celsius , the Fahrenheit and Kelvin. To convert a Fahrenheit into a Celsius we use the formula C =(F-32) x 5/9
And to convert a Celsius into a Fahrenheit we use the formula F = (Cx5/9)+32. But we can use a more simple formula F=Cx2+30 and C=F-30/2. The freezing point of water is 0°C or 32°F, and the boiling point of water is 100°C or 212°F. The body temperature is 96°F and 0K = -273°C. There are 3 states of matters : solid, liquid and gas.

What 's in a degree?

There are three differents types of degrees in the world :

-Celsius

-Fahrenheit

-Kelvin

The boiling point of water is 100°C or 212°F. The freezing point of water is 0°C or 32°F. There are three different states of matters :solid, liquid and gas. In order to convert degrees Celsius in degrees  Fahrenheit, we can use this formula:F=Cx2+30.In order to convert degrees Fahrenheit in degrees Celsius, we can use this formula: C=F-30/2.In America they use feet and inches because Americans refuses to change tto the metric system because it will be to long and expensive.

what's in a degree ?

Unit of measurement of temperature. The symbol is °C, equal to one hundredth part of the difference between the melting temperature of ice (0°C) and the boiling temperature of water (100°C) under normal atmospheric pressure.
A degree can also be used to measure an angle. For exemple in triangle or in a square.
The kelvin (K) is the SI unit of temperature. It measures absolute temperature, a quantity defined by thermodynamics. This absolute temperature scale uses degrees Celsius, but starts at absolute zero, approximately -273°C. The melting temperature of ice is 273°K.
Unit of temperature measurement used in some countries (0°C corresponds to 32°F). Degree of heat measured via a value scale determined by the German physicist Daniel Fahrenheit in the 18th century and bringing the melting point of water to 32 degrees and that of its boiling to 212 degrees.

The hottest day of 2022

During this summer, there was many heats waves this resulted a drought. The drought causes big fire on a big part of Gironde's and the Landes's forrest. During this fire many animals died and many peoples loosed they houses. During the heat wave the temperature was very high, up to 40°C during the day and at the night the temperature decrease around 25°C, all of that is causing by the climate change. Old people are victims to is high temperature and they have many dificulties during is summer.

The Hottest Day of 2022

 The Hottest Day of 2022

In this summer, we have recorded a lot of heat waves!

The heat wave is a rise of the temperatures and create many consequences, for example, the drought of river and they put the population in danger! they create the fire in the forest!

The hottest day of 2022!

This summer, we observed the rise of the temperature .We experienced many heat waves, with temperature that went up to 43°C.Those heat waves was cause by climate change and the green house effect .The drought create big forest fire and the sea level increase. Old people were victime of the weather. During those days we drank a lot of water to stay hydrated, put on sunscreen to protect us from the sun and ate ice cream to cool down.

                                                                       the hottest day of 2022

This day of summer, i went to go to at the beach with my friends, but the temperature are high 40 degrees celsius. So, we go at the swimming pool, and i ate watermelon, salad, ice cream, and more fresh water to hydrate a lot of...unfortunately, a lot of tree and animals are on the fire, with the drought both were very difficult to put out… the heat was above 40 degrees, everyone suffrered from it. Unfortunately the number of fires is increasing, and many regions of France are burning…

It’s very sad, but now because of global warming and the vagaries of life, the haet is always increasing.
