For me, the best place in the world is the Basque Country because it's a great place to surf, it is also home to many spots that offer superb waves, from the physicist's point of view, a wave corresponds to a mechanical wave that propagates at the interface between the water surface and the air. This is characterized by its wavelength, amplitude, period and speed.
