In my opinion, the most beautiful place that I've been to is in Rovaniemi, Finland. And if you are lucky you might see an aurora borealis in the night sky.
An aurora borealis also called polar lights are a natural phenomenon found in the northern hemisphere, are the result of collisions between gaseous particles in the Earth's atmosphere with charged particles released from the sun's atmosphere. Color variations are due to the type of gas particles that are colliding.
